16 JANUARY 2015
thinkrelativity today announced that an agreement had been reached with the Sports Club Management Expo, to provide sponsorship, event support and funding for the 2015 Sports Club Management Expo, via revolutioniseSPORT.
The first expo for the year kicks off on Feburary 15 in the Albury/Wodona region.
The expo is Australia's largest grass roots sporting conference and expo, attended by hundreds of grass roots clubs, state bodies, national bodies, sports businesses, PE teachers, local councils, and government.
In 2012, the inaugural Sydney event had over 300 sports clubs in attendance from sports such as Soccer and Netball, to sports such as Dragon Boating and Boxing. Speakers included NSW Minister for Sport Graham Annesley, Professor Keith Lyons and John Reid of the Australia Drug Foundation, and exhibitors included technology companies such as Mobipost, sports businesses such as Wholesale Trophies, tertiary education providers such as ACPE and UTS, state sporting bodies and retail partners such as Coca-Cola.
In 2013, the Melbourne event had over 400 sports clubs and 30 exhibitors, and was hailed as a success for grassroots sports education and training.
In 2015 the expo is set to feature across the entire eastern seaboard.
