03 OCTOBER 2014

The peak Victorian dragon boat racing body, today announced that they have struck a partnership with sports management provider revolutioniseSPORT.

The sports management solution will provide an end-to-end management platform for Dragon Boat Victoria, its clubs and members across the state.

Sarah Loh, Dragon Boat Victoria Executive Officer, says ‘this is an exciting new partnership which will improve and streamline our business processes and allow more energy and resources to be focused on growing the sport across Victoria. Prior to revolutioniseSPORT, we were basically running off spreadsheets and paper. So to move online, with a cloud-based, whole-of-sport solution is very exciting and refreshing. It will help us cut down on hours spend on administrative work.’

Dragon Boat Victoria's particular focus is on regatta planning and delivery to a growing membership base, where it says revolutioniseSPORT's platform will enhance their capabilities in organising efficiently run competitions and automating member entry and payment.

Alex Mednis, managing director of revolutioniseSPORT, says he is excited to be embarking on this new partnership: "It's great to see Dragon Boat Victoria bringing all their digital assets together under the one banner. We're thrilled to be working with the volunteers and staff in their quest to grow the sport of dragon boat racing further."

revolutioniseSPORT is the emerging market leader in online club management in Australia. The platform supports both grassroots clubs and peak sporting bodies, and has formed partnerships with three Australian National Sporting Organisations within six months of releasing their whole-of-sport solution.
